AMY HARRIS
GET TO KNOW ME
Born and raised in Southern California, I am currently in my last semester at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where I will graduate with a Bachelors of Arts in Communications and a minor in Sociology in April 2023. Throughout my life, I have been an avid player and follower of sports, which led me to dream of working in sports one day.

I currently work as a Line Producer and Production Assistant at BYUtv where I produce BYU Sports Nation, a nationally televised sports studio show that airs weekdays at 12 ET. I developed a love for production and found it to be a place where I could use both my learned and innate skills to succeed.

I have experience as a line producer, coordinating producer, font assist, video editor, feature producer and editor, associate director, and TOC. I also have freelance experience as a stage manager for a CBS broadcast of NCAA Men's Basketball and will be working as a runner for the 2023 NBA All-Star Game.

The experience I have gained and the opportunities I have earned at BYUtv have prepared me to enter a career in sports production. I am passionate about what I do and am motivated to work hard to achieve my goals. Sports have always been a central component of my life, and I look forward to centering my professional career around something that brings me and so many others so much joy.
Growing up, I always loved sports, and spent most of my time playing basketball and softball, as well as skiing and hiking with my family. I also love to travel and was able to spend a year and a half living in France following my sophomore year at BYU.
Outside of work, I also have several hobbies and interests that I enjoy doing with friends and family.
